- SUNDAY SCHOOL classes for the current school-year are held each Sunday in the School/Center. Sessions begin following Divine Liturgy. Students in grades Kindergarten through 8 (and beyond!) are encouraged to attend. We say “Thank You” to our teachers, parents, grandparents, Sunday School staff and all who support our Sunday School programme. Let us learn about our Orthodox Faith and Traditions – and put them into practice. God Bless you!
- CHURCH CLEANING for this week, 14 April: TEAM 4 ----- Michael Senyk and anyone else who can and cares enough to help. Please, remember to tend to the Holy Icons, candlestands and the main aisle before leaving church today. We need a few more volunteers (women and men) to supplement our cleaning teams. - HAPPENING TODAY, Sunday (14 April, 2024): - A PASCHA Craft Session for our parish youth will be held TODAY! All the youths of our Parish are welcome to attend. The session will be held in the Parish Center/ Sunday School classroom after Divine Liturgy. Paschal egg-holders and magnets will be made by our participants. “Thank You” to Marina King for co-ordinating this event!. God Bless!
- 5. OUR PARISH HALL (SCHOOL/CENTER) is in dire need of repair. The Parish Council is and has been seeking estimates to complete the necessary work. Some bids have already been received. - SPRING CLEANING at our Parish Cemetery is scheduled for Saturday, 11 May, 2024. A general “sprucing-up “ and maintenance is on the agenda. Your help is appreciated. Let’s keep our Parish Cemetery in respectable and proper condition. Can you offer some much needed help for a few hours? Starting time is 9:00AM, Thanks! And God Bless you!

- THE HOLY FIRE, from the Church of the Resurrection * in Jerusalem, burns brightly in the lampadas in our church. If you wish to make a donation for the burning of the Holy Fire in the Altar (Sanctuary) or Nave (main body) of our temple, please, stop at the candle-desk. Offering intentions may be made for the health and salvation of family and friends, or for the blessed repose of departed Christians. - JUST A reminder: Our annual contribution to the Cathedraticum for the Patriarchal Parishes is fifty ($50.00) dollars per parishioner per year. This is more than reasonable (only one dollar per week). Please, actively support our Russian Orthodox Church in the USA by faithfully using your Cathedraticum envelopes. God Bless!

It is NOT a substitute for NOT attending Divine Liturgy in church on Sunday or any other day. God Bless!
- A WORD of “THANKS!” to our faithful parishioners and friends who tend to the beauty of the temple/church and parish grounds and cemetery. You know what “they say – no one notices housekeeping and landscaping work unless it is NOT done.” YOUR WORK in the House-of-God and its properties does not go un-noticed. We appreciate your labours and know that the Lord God blesses and accepts your offering of time and talent. - PARISH COUNCIL REPORTS:- Due to scheduling priorities, the MAY meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Sunday, 28 April, 2024. The session will be held in the Parish Hall following Divine Liturgy. All Council members are asked to attend. Parishioners are invited, also. God Bless!
- AN IMPORTANT and necessary ingredient in our Lenten discipline is almsgiving. Our Parish has a long=practiced tradition called the Lenten Sacrifice. When this tradition began, each parishioner was asked to offer one dollar ($1.00) per day for each of the forty days of the Great Fast (a total of $40). These alms were designated to cover the cost of our parish insurance premiums. Today, we realize that all expenses have risen – a dollar doesn’t have the buying power it had fifty or more years ago. Just like our personal family expenses have increased, so too our Parish Family expenses have risen. So please, continue to make the Lenten Sacrifice a key part of your personal Lenten discipline. Donate alms according to your ability. You will find that the Lord God will bless and reward your generosity. Your Parish will thank you; and you will be “laying up for yourselves treasure in heaven.” Special envelopes for the Lenten Sacrifice are available in the narthex. Thank you and God Bless you!
